This all started with wanting to use mica (found in igneous rock like granite) in a piece. It’s a grounding element that shimmers in light. But it needed a complimentary color, so I chose 14k gold. From there, it was what to do with the materials!
From a spiritual perspective, mica grounds you and gold enlightens and purifies you. What better way to represent both than… an angel?!
It shimmers so bright in person and makes me smile every time I see it.
