Heart-melting
In 2015, we had a family cruise through the Mediterranean, followed by a few days in Venice. It was there my mom surprised each of us with a Murano glass figure of a heart on top of an ice cube. I’d like to think the warm heart is melting the cube! It became great inspiration for the piece I created.
Just how love is imperfect, so is the art itself!
NOTE: The acrylic on the canvas is designed to look like the ice cube is melting the entire art piece.
